BBQ Nachos

June 3 2025.

Even though I was allowed to sleep in, I was still awake before Lauren left for work.

Bailey drove her to work, and I ended up getting ready for the day.

When I was ready, Bailey came back to tell me that Lauren's key was in the car, but she couldn't figure out where.

I searched alone for maybe 10 minutes, and then Bailey and I searched together for like 30 minutes.

I literally have no idea where the key could be.

But we know it's in the car because it can start.

We ended up using the spare key, which allowed us to lock the car when we were away from it.

Bailey and I went to Edley's Bar-B-Que.

We shared the nachos.

Which were potato chips, with nacho cheese, barbecue, pulled pork, tomatoes, jalapeños and green onion.

I didn't eat the green onion or the tomatoes really, but everything else was great.

We were pretty full, and had no other ideas on what to do, so we just sat there and talked.

Then we went back to Lauren's to get our luggage, and then went to Lauren's work to have her take us to the airport.

We said our goodbyes at the airport, and hope to see each other soon.

At the airport my mom was already there waiting for us.

Bailey checked her bag, and then we went to the American lounge.

I don't know if it's the lounge to base lounge experiences on, but it wasn't really anything for me.

I ended up leaving the lounge, not long after my mom and sister, so that I could charge my phone.

On the flight I read my book, and hope to get better about reading now.

It really is a good book.

I took a cab home, and called my dad on the way.

When I was home, I looked at the awful job that the repair men did, and then tried to clean up.

I will have to let them know I don't want them coming back until I'm available to watch them.

Because this isn't good.

Back to work tomorrow.
