Photographic Memory

January 31 2011.  Today I got ready for work and ended up getting cut from my shift.  So I ran to the bank.  Then sold some clothes at Buffalo, then took what they didn't take over to Plato's Closet.  I absolutely detest Plato's.  They are so cheep, and I am selling them things that are way better than the crap that they are pushing, and they are like, "we are going to pass on your things, thank you for thinking of us."  It is beyond upsetting.  So then I went to sell some books at Boulder Bookstore.  And then spent a few hours hanging out at MAX.  After that ran a few more errands and called it a day, and went to Olive Garden to sign my freelance contract with 8z reality.  It is a part time job, that I will be writing short articles on neighborhood relevant stories.  Like restaurants,  school news, architecture styles, and other similar categories.  I will inform you when I post my first article.  The last time I saw The September Issue Grace Coddington was talking about a photographer, and she said "and he taught me to always keep your eyes open, you know, never go to sleep in the car or anything like that.  Keep watching, because whatever you see out the window, or wherever, it can inspire you."  While I did spend my day observing to some degree I saw an image that is now ingrained in my mind.  It was at MAX, and they had just changed the mannequins, and with the bright colors, and the white out, from the snow outside, just made a great photographic moment.  I love that when that happens.  A moment that you just want to capture, if only I started carrying around a camera to capture these moments.  I still have yet to take a photographic series for a blog post.  I am posting a video of one of my favorite photographers that does just that.

Until Tomorrow.
