Let Me Tell You 'Bout My Best Friend

January 29 2011.  The whole reason I came home this weekend was for my grandma's birthday.  We went to Olive Garden, and then came back to our house for some cupcakes.  The cupcakes were not as epic as Magnolia's, but you know, sometimes you just have to make due.  I kind of wish home was closer.  Four hours is kind of a drive.  And I only seem to get to be home for a few days at a time anyway.  I really need about a week.  To see people, clean my room out, even though it's not really my room anymore it's been taken over by scrap booking land.  Even though I feel like I have nothing here, I still seem to have enough. I enjoy being a minimalist.  And it would just be nice to get to spend some time with my family.  I feel like I never see them anymore.  I mean I talk to them all of the time, but I don't really talk to them.  Maybe a 30 minute conversation with my mother once a week, and definitely no more than a five minute conversation with my grandma everyday.  So it's not quite the same as being home.  While I said I was turning into Kramer the other day, I think I have inherited a grip of my grandma's genes.  I can sniff a scent like a bloodhound.  I am very particular with everything I do.  I am very easy to get in my ways, and very hard to change them.  I can go a mile a minute.  I love to laugh and make others laugh.  And I am perfectly content with just my close friends, and don't waste my time filling my life with fluff people.  So I guess thank you Phyllis, you are my best friend, I hope your birthday was the best one yet.

Until Tomorrow.
