Cotton & Snow

June 1 2025.

I thought I was the first person awake and downstairs today.

But I was not.

My mom was already downstairs, and everyone else was soon to follow.

We did a number of things to get ready for Morgan’s shower.

Blow up balloons, secure a sign out front, build a photo wall, assemble and cut tea sandwiches.

I did get ready, but that was really just to cool down after the heat from assembling the wall outside.

Morgan’s shower had about 20 or so people there, and it was a nice lunch.

I guess my tea sandwiches were a real success.

After the shower, we took almost the entire set up down.

It’s kind of crazy how fast we were able to take it down.

The house took 5, or so people, 5 hours of assembly, for 2 hours of entertainment, and then an hour of disassembly.

It’s a little sad it couldn’t last longer for the amount that goes into it.

Then Lauren, Morgan, Morgan’s friend, Bailey and my mom and aunt headed out to Broadway.

We went to The Twelve Thirty Club, a large restaurant and bar with a roof. We had drinks on the roof, and then Morgan took her friend to the airport.

After we finished there we went to Pushin’ Daisies for a drink.

And then Morgan came back, and my aunt headed home.

We then went to 888 for dinner.

It was enjoyable.

A sushi restaurant.

From there we went to the one thing on my list, Cotton & Snow.

A snow cone, ice cream and cotton candy spot.

I got a cotton candy flavored snow cone, with and ice cream dollop on top, and a side of cotton candy.

They wouldn’t allow me to get cotton candy flavored ice cream, which I thought was ridiculous.

But it was fine without it.

I wasn’t a fan of their ice cream, but I thought the snow cone was very good.

I’m ready for bed.

Until Tomorrow.
