On Grove

March 9 2025.

The day wasn't easy to start, I just wanted to sleep in.

When I did get up, I got ready and headed to work.

The day started with me remerchandising Dries, I feel like it finally looks good.

Then I was like I'll head to lunch.

As I was going down the elevator a client texted me, asking if I was in.

They were on the second floor, so I went back in to see them.

Turned out he was looking for his dad. I'd met his dad before, but this was the first time meeting his mom.

She really knew what she wanted, which is so different than my client or her husband.

They are so relaxed.

She was like, we'll need a jacket, shirts, sweaters, and a belt.

I was slightly annoyed they got a pair of shoes before calling me, but I know he always calls me, and his parents are another story.

I'll take the small victories.

When I finished with them I headed to lunch.

Back from lunch I cleaned up Fendi, and Jil.

Then about then Kate was arriving, so I went over to women's to meet her.

We found her a pair of Chanel espadrilles, and then headed over to men's for me to finish the day.

After we headed to meet Julia at Emmett's On Grove.

Julia was already there, but we had to wait a bit to get stools so we could join her.

We shared,  fried mozzarella, pigs in a blanket, meatballs, and a Caesar salad.

And then a pizza.

We sat there for a long while after we finished eating, just talking.

Then I headed home, and scrolled through my phone until now.
