January 2 2025.

The work day was a little better than yesterday.

I had an appointment, and a few other random things, but it wasn't quite what I had hoped for.

The day went by fast enough, but also not.

After work I headed down to meet Anna, Julia and Kate at Mission Chinese.

We had the cucumbers, cabbage salad, salt and pepper calamari, salt cod fried rice, thrice cooked bacon, snow crab garlic noodles, Mapo tofu, and winter greens.

Everything was very nice.

I wanted the tee, but the server was like, oh they're just for the staff. And I was like, no they're not.

Since I'd already talked to Danny about them.

So, I just said, don't worry, I'll just talk to...

And didn't finish.

I didn't need her to be anymore annoying than I found her.

Like why isn't Ben working at this location.

After dinner we went to Spring Lounge.

It was a chilly walk.

We were there a long time, chatting about moose knuckles, Lloyd and wadding or folding.

Quite the night.

Kate and Anna took cars home. And I walked with Anna to the West Side, where I took the 1 home.

I'm ready for bed.
