The day was pretty quiet, but also thankfully had a few things that kept me busy.
Worked on a few new arrivals, a delivery on a made to measure, and a Dior sale event.
For lunch I just had a bag of chips because I didn't want to fill up before dinner.
This evening after work I went to dinner with Jason and Tina to Mission Chinese.
It was Tina's first time, and Jason's second.
While we were there I ran into Anatoly, who I actually run into almost every time I'm there.
Quite the coincidence.
He was also with Tas, who I've known for like 10 years.
I met both of them when they worked at Dover Street Market. Just have kept in touch via social media.
We ordered the cabbage salad, crispy beef, salt and pepper calamari, Mala pork dumplings, chicken wings, salt cod fried rice, thrice cooked bacon, Mapo tofu and the strawberry Pop Rocks dessert.
It was my first time having both the crispy beef, and the Mala dumplings. The crispy beef was interesting, but the orange flavor wasn't ideal I didn't think. As for the dumplings they were pretty uneventful on the pallet.
Otherwise, I was pretty happy with our order. Perhaps the least left overs I've ever had from there.
It was lucky we all had skipped lunch.
After dinner we took the R together, and then Jason took the 1 with me.
I was annoyed we didn't have a seat though, which is not very common.
However, I could have sat down, we just wouldn't have been near each other.
And I didn't feel I could do that to him after making him take the 1, and not the A.
When I got home I went through my phone, and then got a call from Julia.
She was annoyed that work was wanting her to buy a shirt for a one night event, which I agree is silly they want her to buy a $40 shirt, to wear for at most 12 hours.
I said I'd send her a few options on what she could say to them.
Until Tomorrow.
Tina and Jason thought Danny, the chef, looked like a Balenciaga model. Especially when he walked.
