The Half Weekend

March 2 2017.

I don't have that many friends in the city.

And I have even fewer friends that have weekends off.

Well, you know I wasn't sure what I was going to do with myself.  But then I heard about The Armory Show, an art show similar to Basel I think.  I've never been, but it has similar galleries, so I'd guess it's just a smaller version.

So I saw a friend went, and I was like, "how was it?"  He said I should go.  So I said something about going, and he offered me his VIP pass.  What?!  So sweet!

So this evening I went to go pick it up.  It gets me and a plus one in.  Now I just need to work on the plus one.

Then before I left work, Kate sent me a message saying she got tickets to a Broadway show on Saturday and wanted to know if I wanted to join her.

I have a friend that's waiting to get back to me about hanging out Saturday, so once I know that, then I'll know if I can go to the show.

But just think, I was a heartbeat away from making signs that said "Will you be my friend?"

And now I have a few things to do on my Saturday.

Work tomorrow, and then a partial weekend.  What!?
