Onsie
February 18 2017.
I seem to be having split topics for posts lately.
First I guess I'll talk about what I did last.
This evening I came home, ate my Pizza Hut, and figured it was so nice out and I had nothing better to do, so I walked the few blocks to see Harry Houdini's brownstone. It's a historical landmark on 113th Street.
He lived in the home from 1904 to 1926 when he died.
It was an attractive building, I'm guessing they've chopped it up into a number of units, but it's still attractive form the outside.
When I was in the third grade I was Harry Houdini for Halloween. I think I had read a number of books on him, but that was really all. I don't think I watched any movies, but I fee like I would have liked to.
Perhaps I could find something to watch on him now.
And now for my second topic.
Thom Browne.
Now I feel like all I've been talking about is this collection.
Well, today my prayers were answered and the cashmere onsie arrived. I jumped right into it, and showed it off.
I think only one person thought it was as fun as I did. Everyone else was like, "where are you going to wear that?" "How are you going to wear that?" "You don't need that!"
It was so sad to hear. I mean it wasn't one of the colors or prints that I had originally wanted, and it wasn't quite what I had pictured for all those months, but I still thought it was fun.
I mean, there are only a few pieces left on my list, but this was what I pictured as the crowning jewel.
This onsie, and the shark bite pants, were things I was very excited for. Now I've been told I don't need either.
I'm lost.
I mean I could get the surfboard instead of the onsie and the pants, and call it a day. I always wanted a luxury brand novelty, and a surf board would be just that.
I'm sure I'll spend a few more days making up my mind, but I guess whatever decision I make it won't be all bad. I get something I wanted if I get it, and I save some money if I don't.
Decisions, decisions.
Until Tomorrow.
