Wow.
Just, wow.
That was a historical moment. Witnessing the Oscar go from La La Land to Moonlight because of an envelope mix-up. I mean that stage producer totally just lost their job for next year.
The La La Land team took it very well.
I looked it up, it's not the first time it's happened, but it looks like the second.
There have been other announcement confusions, but only one other false announcement in 1993 (from what I can tell, I'd guess we'll hear more in the news tomorrow).
I mean, I guess this way everyone wins. For the people that wanted La La Land to win, and for the people that wanted Moonlight to win.
And I'm over here wishing Lion had won.
I thought Jimmy did a great job. His feud with Matt was still funny. And the tour bus was the Ellen's pizza delivery of 2017.
I'll talk about outfits tomorrow, but I did see some good ones tonight.
I still love the Oscars.
