Fitting

Post Oscars, and I've had some time to process my feelings.

I mean, Emma Stone's Givenchy dress was my favorite.

I thought it was chic, semi thematic for La La Land, and just really beautiful on her.

I also really liked Ruth Negga's dress.  I thought it was so chic, and kind of sexy in a subtle way.

Then I loved Ryan Gosling in Gucci.  He wears everything well.  Like I don't know who his stylist is, but I should find out.

Pharrell in Chanel was also nice.  I don't recall seeing him there, but he was on the carpet, so he must have.

And I also found out that Meryl's Chanel dress drama was kind of false.  She was considering Chanel, but backed out of it to wear Elie Saab.  I thought that was an awful dress in general, but certainly didn't do her any favors.  I would have liked to have seen the Chanel dress they didn't think was a winner.

I would like to see more women in like a tuxedo or something.  Saint Laurent made a tuxedo for women every season, I think this is a real missed opportunity.

The Oscars are the most formal of all of the award shows, but I mean we saw a number of ankles last night, I don't think it would be the end of the world if we saw a woman in pants.
