It's A 1

February 24 2017.

Things don't always turn out the way we plan.

That was certainly the case today.

I went into the day thinking that I'd get ready, meet Julia, see the galleries, and grab some food, and head home.

Instead I slept in, talked to Julia on the phone for an hour, had a bowl of cereal, cut my hair, and headed out with the intention of going to the galleries.

Well, not even 50 feet from my building I realize it's 3pm, by the time I get to the first gallery it'll almost be 4, and most of the galleries close at 6 I think, so I scratched that idea.

I then call Julia, and tell her, I'm just going to hang out with her until she heads to work.  And follow her to work, and then get food at Urbanspace.

And that's what I did.

I then came home to start Chef's Table season three.

It's pretty good so far.

I loved Jeong Kwan's outfits.  I like the ban on the five spices too, I don't like those five usually at all, so I might really like her cooking.

Vladimir Mukhin was kind of forgettable.

Nancy Silverton is probably my favorite so far of this season.  I love bread, so I hope I love her bread.  I also realized a fun fact about her while I was watching, that they don't tell you in this episode, but Dan Barber (chef from Blue Hill) started with Nancy and was fired when he fucked up a huge batch of dough.  They tell us that in his Chef's Table episode.

Ivan Orkin was, I think, the first chef from this series that I've been to their restaurant before I saw their episode.  I mean usually I've never even heard of the people at all.  I think he makes good ramen, but I wasn't impressed by his pork buns.  I've been twice.  He'd tell me to fuck off if he heard this.

Tim Raue wasn't really that interesting to me either.  Made me want to visit Berlin though.

One left, and I don't know if I can do it tonight though.

Until Tomorrow.

Side Note: I cut my hair to a 1 today, I usually do a 2.  It's pretty short, almost non-existent in areas.  I'll see what people say about it in person tomorrow.
