So Many Things

January 27 2010.  The 2010/2011 Fall/Winter collections are on clearance now.  The 2011 Spring/Summer collections are just now rolling in.  And while I have made my wish list for Spring/Summer items months ago.  I just barely finished looking at the 2011/2012 Fall/Winter collections and started making wish lists, and I got an email today saying that pre-sales are available for certain collections for the shows I just saw.  It's like give me a minute to rest.  I can't even keep up.  I just barely finished shopping for one season, and mind you I am still in that current season.  And I am already shopping a year in advance.  In the book The Devil Wears Prada, Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief of a huge fashion magazine, wore clothes a year before they were even available for normal consumers.  And she would sell them, when she thought they were old, but really they were just released for "common people".  It is hard living with such temptations.  But maybe one day I could have connections like her and get pieces a year in advance, and maybe even get the hook up for some Haute Couture.  Wouldn't that be nice?
