I woke up much earlier than I normally would on a day off, but to go to lunch.
A guy who I've never met, but talked to, and known adjacently, invited me to lunch at Thai Diner.
He started the meal by saying lunch was on him.
Not sure why, but I'm no dummy. I know better than to turn down a free lunch.
We shared the papaya salad, chicken platter, and lobster omelette.
Everything was great.
Then I saw a donut shop on my way to lunch, and suggested we swing by there.
Homie's is a new donut shop.
The donuts look very good, and I'd say they taste pretty good.
Maybe not as perfect as I'd like, but definitely enjoyable.
I then headed to Julia's.
When I got there she was waking up from a nap, and then we slowly started a movie.
Christmas Next Door.
I'd tried to watch this a few times, but finally got to see it.
It was cute. Pretty standard.
Then we did Christmas In Evergreen.
When we finished this we took a train to Twenty Two Hotel to pick up these jerseys that Julia was going to wrap later to send out.
It was a very nice hotel that pending the price in the off season, we'd consider a stay cation there.
Then we walked over to Ops, a new location of a pizza place.
We shared a greens salad, a sausage and mushroom pizza, and a Hawaiian.
They were good, but I don't think I loved either.
Then we went to Paddy Maguire's Ale House, which was decorated to the gills for Christmas.
After a pint of Guinness later, we went back to Julia's.
We continued with Christmas In Evergreen: Letters To Santa. This was a cute movie.
The girl from the first made an appearance, but it was a new couple.
Then Colton came home, and we watched Christmas In Evergreen: Tidings Of Joy.
This was a cute concept with the time capsule and advent calendar.
Julia enjoyed the original couple the most, but I'll probably continue the series.
I helped her wrap the jerseys, and came home.
Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment and then work.
