Hani's

June 13 2025.

I slept in until 11, which wasn't late enough, but it was when I needed to get up to meet Julia.

We had decided to meet for cinnamon rolls.

It was between l'apartment 4F and Hani's.

We went back and forth, and settled on Hani's.

I stopped at CVS first for a Pepsi, and then went in.

Thankfully they had the cinnamon rolls still, since apparently they can sell out.

I also got there version of a peanut butter and jelly.

The roll was room temperature, which would have been better warm.

The icing was good, but it had malt in it, which I don't love. So I wonder if it could have been better.

The peanut butter and jelly wasn't what I was hoping for, and wasn't a big fan of it.

I let Julia take it home.

From there we walked to the West Village.

We ran into Franco from Blue Hill, so it was nice to see him, and say hello.

Then we were going to walk to Thom Browne, but ended up taking the train.

When we got out I saw the Ghostbusters Headquarters. I had no idea it was right there.

Thom Browne was a quick enough trip, but still very annoying I had to go back because the guy didn't reply to my emails or take proper notes.

Julia and I headed uptown. She went to work, and I went to Regal.

I got tickets for three movies, and then went to Raising Cane's.

After eating there, I ran to the ATM to deposit a $100 a client had given me.

Since tips are apparently all you can use them for, I can't use them in hardly any store.

My first movie was Karate Kid: Legends.

It was a fun one, but I was surprised the trailer completely left out his tutor and the pizza parlor family. And the antagonist actually.

It was basically like going in blind.

Next I saw The Phoenician Scheme, which was also pretty blind.

I loved the characters, but the plot was a bit confusing, or pointless.

And I ended with How To Train Your Dragon.

This was cute, and well done.

I really love Mason Thames, he's the next big star I think.

Until Tomorrow.
