Dinner Date

June 9 2025.

I know we are a third of the way into June, but it's kind of like, "it's already June?"

Work was uneventful today.

Wyatt left practically when he got there.

Jason called out.

So Travis, Jalani and I filled and cleaned up a few sections.

I did Jil Sander with Travis, then I did Dries, Lemaire and Thom Browne alone.

Of course after I finished studio came through and pulled a number of things they won't keep, so it was very annoying. As always.

On my lunch I talked to Julia, and planned a dinner date.

She decided to go to Monkey Bar.

It was a long, and annoying, wait.

There was, what appeared to be,  a couple on their first date in front of us.

They were young. Awkward.

But about 45 minutes, or more, into our meal, the guy came over to the hostess and was like, I just saw my text alert. Is the table still available?

It was not.

The hostess was actually not sympathetic at all, and it solidified how I feel about her.

After a lot of back and forth she put them on a list.

They ate and left before we did, so I'm glad they did get a table after nearly two hours of waiting.

Otherwise it would have been a real bust of a date.

Tomorrow I plan on doing chores and cleaning my closet.
