Bailey woke me up this morning with a knock, and I got ready pretty quickly.
I did steam my shirt, and lint roll it.
Once we were all ready we headed to breakfast at Big Bad Breakfast.
It was okay. I had a ham and cheese omelette, and a cinnamon roll.
The cinnamon roll was very dry, by design, it just wasn’t what I wanted.
I was hoping for something like a Cinnabon.
After breakfast we went to a nice mall.
I was really surprised to see hardly any empty shops.
And most stores were very well staffed.
I will say I noticed everything in the store at Saint Laurent was pretty old, which surprised me.
We have some dated merchandise on our floor, but they had as much new merchandise as I have old.
Also, if they had a visit like we have a visit, they would be shut down.
From the mall we went to Trader Joe’s. Most of the party needs were met here.
Then we dropped Lauren at Costco, and Bailey and I went to Publix to buy crostini, which they no longer have. After a very confusing “incident” about a year ago.
So Bailey just got bread to make our own.
We then picked up Lauren, and came back to her place to start preparing for her party.
I made lots of lemon juice. Then lemon wedges. Then a dry mixture for an oil and herbs dip. And then I worked on floral arrangements.
This was a good stopping point, so we headed to our rooms to change.
Back downstairs I helped set the tables, and then I just kept doing random things.
I made a few martinis.
Next thing you know I’m clearing dinner plates, and cutting birthday cake, and serving a party.
My cousin’s friends had no idea who I was, so it’s understandable a few thought I was the help.
Especially since I was all in black.
We cleaned everything up pretty well, and should have another big day tomorrow.
Until Tomorrow.
