He Should Have Rung His Stuff

May 17 2025.

I took an Uber to work today because my station was down.

It's such an inconvenience.

The day started with modeling a backpack for a client.

Then I helped another client buy ties for his friend.

It was pretty quiet, so I went to lunch.

After I got back I helped this guy.

Turned out he had a pile of things downstairs.

So the associate was like, when you're done we can bring him down.

Next thing you know the sales associate brought everything up, and was like, you can ring it.

I'm like, sure.

Then I find out it's got alterations, shipping, some things are sale.

It's like, this isn't an easy transaction for you just to dump.

But, sure.

After the guy looks at everything I have to offer him, he takes two pieces.

Then he's ready for me to ring it all.

It takes awhile.

Then we finally get to the payment and he's got expired gift cards.

I try to redeem them, but they are too far expired.

He finds this annoying, but he still pays.

After everything is done, and the client is gone, I discover that I forgot to give the credit to the guy downstairs.

I feel bad, but also, I'm like why didn't you ring your portion?

It's annoying because now this will come out of my next paycheck, but I guess it's like a cash advance.

After work I went to Pizza Hut for dinner.

It was so nice I hung out in Columbus Circle.

Every time I sit their I think of the movie Kids.

When I headed home I had to walk the last 20 blocks because of the train.

Tomorrow I might take a different train, we'll see.

There's a parade tomorrow too.

Fucking parades.
