SNL 50

February 16 2025.

After some breakfast cookies, I got ready and headed to work.

I was alone in my section today, but not really.

It was a little annoying.

I felt like I hesitated a number of times, for various reasons, and it was a loss every time.

A Fendi cardigan here, a celebrity there, a large sale there.

I did help Michael Che, but it was a pretty quiet day otherwise.

After work I headed to Kate's to watch the SNL 50.

It was definitely a fun watch.

I'm not sure it was as well done as the the 40th, but it was still a fun collection of skits.

I feel like I would have just done a collection of characters, like Sally O'Malley, Target Lady, Kaitlin, Church Lady.

Something like that, where lots of characters would get to be reprised.

And they kind of did it on Weekend Update, but I would have liked a few more anchors to cycle through the desk.

I just feel like make the most of it.

I was also surprised at how often some of the actors were used.

For dinner we had L'Industrie, which was good, and I had some carrot cake too.

Then I took a cab home, talking to Julia for the first time in ages.

Once home I settled in, thinking about how much I need to do laundry Tuesday, and getting ready for bed.
