Manchester By The Sea
February 8 2017.
I did about as much as I thought I would today.
I watched the movie War Dogs, which was pretty good.
Then I went to get an early dinner, or late lunch, or super late breakfast at Pizza Hut Express.
The pizza is always delicious, it's the breadsticks that aren't up to snuff. The problem is is that the employees there never use enough of the parmesan cheese to dust on the breadsticks. It should be like a thick-coat of dust, not a first-signs-of-snow kind of dusting.
Anyway, after I ate I watched Arrival.
It was good, but I don't think it was as amazing as it was made out to be. Maybe I'll watch it again, but it was only a good movie to me, it wasn't Oscar best picture material.
Then I watched Manchester By The Sea. Now that was more in line with best picture, but I don't think that it should win.
I did really enjoy the boy in the movie though, full of dark humor. It wasn't nearly as depressing as everyone made it out to be, and I thought it had a happy ending.
Now I only have Moonlight, Fences, and Hacksaw Ridge left to see from the best picture nominees.
I bet I'll be able to see them all before the Oscars.
Until Tomorrow.
