Frosty

February 6 2017.

This evening I was reminded of a  TED Talk called Broken, it's about things that don't make any sense.

I was reminded of this because I liked this TED Talk six years ago in one of my blogs, but I also thought of it after my experience at Wendy's this evening.

Tonight I went to Wendy's for dinner; a spicy chicken sandwich meal, with a chocolate junior Frosty.

Unfortunately they were out of chocolate, but I could get vanilla.  But then the cashier said, what size do you want though.  To which I say, "junior."

He then tells me that's not an option.  Only people that have this keychain thing can get junior Frosty, no one else.

What?!

I've heard this before, but then they stopped, but now apparently it's a thing again.

Or I just encountered the same guy again.

But it makes no sense.  Why would you not allow someone to buy something you offer?

I skipped getting a Frosty, just because I didn't want the bigger size.  How does that help them as a business?

And it's not like they just don't offer that size any longer.  They just are being ass holes and not letting people get what they want.

I was apparently so obviously annoyed that the employee just gave me a junior Frosty, which I didn't pay for any size of one, but he was nice enough to overlook that.

I need to get one of these Frosty keychains apparently, so annoyed.

Until Tomorrow.
