Six years ago today I went to my first Movie Day by myself.
Which is crazy to think about, because if feels like it's been about that long since I went to a Movie Day.
A few other big things happened today in history.
Seventy years ago on this day Christian Dior presented "Corolle" and "8," which the world would dub the "New Look."
And while it might not have been on this night, but the Grammys were tonight, and on Grammys night in 2000 Jennifer Lopez wore a dress that would create the second most used feature on my computer.

Her Versace dress was the reason Google created a separate tab for images.
Thank God they did.
I don't think anything quite that historical happened today, but I could be wrong. I mean today we are writing tomorrow's history.
