I slept in, and then went through my phones.
That took awhile, and then I started eating random things in my kitchen while I talked to Julia.
Then I got ready and headed out to see about a bag.
I'm in desperate need of a new bag, and I thought I found a great option.
I arrived at Bottega to try the Veneto.
It's a small bag, but still larger than my current bag.
It is slimmer when empty than my current bag, but could be stuffed with much more.
It had two interior pockets, which is essential.
I do like it, and so did most of the people I sent it to.
But a few people thought it looked too short.
I don't think I see that, but perhaps it's the design of the strap. Since the strap is a continuous part of the bag.
I really liked the sales person at Bottega. He was very sweet.
Then I went to The Row, and found a few things there.
And after I found a few things, my seller was like, do you want to see the new stuff?
Yes. Obviously.
So I looked at that.
I know we are getting a shirt at work, so I'll get that there.
But then saw a tee I really liked.
But, for today, I just did a sweater and a pair of pants.
After I left there, I walked over to Hoexter's.
It's a spot I just heard about this week, and Julia and I figured we'd try it.
They told me they accepted walk in's, and would be able to take us in like 30 minutes.
So I waited, and got a spot at the bar around when they said. Not long after, Julia arrived.
We shared the gorgonzola garlic bread, gem salad, and a cheese burger and fries.
The bread wasn't bad, but if it would have been a less stinky cheese, I would have enjoyed it more.
The salad wasn't bad, and the burger was good.
We shared everything, and then got the cookies served warm with ice cream, which we read, cookies served with warm ice cream.
I probably would have preferred that, my mouth doesn't love cold or hot food.
After dinner I went home, repaired my Dries sequin shorts, entered my new purchases into my spreadsheet, steamed them, and scrolled my phone.
A big day.
Until Tomorrow.
